We spent about 30 minutes discussing the Colossians 3:16 passage and we found it interesting that Paul says to use the scripture to teach and admonish (strongly correct) each other and that teaching and admonition is put in the same milkshake with thanksgiving and singing with joy. Puzzled we were, to say the least, since most of us take correction and group it with going to the Dr. and getting a shot or a colonoscopy. We figured pride was the culprit, so we all sat on the wrong side of that admonition from Paul. I suppose now, looking back, we probably should have broke out in songs of worship...Thanks be to God Most High and to Jesus our Savior for the grace to know these things.
