The following is an accounting of the work of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts.  The content is compiled of scripture that directly names the Holy Spirit.  I do believe there is, perhaps, a nearly incalculable amount of work the Spirit did in Acts, however these are strictly scriptures that mention Him.
The work represents some of my prep to preach on the work of the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts.  My hope is, like me, you will have a time of "push back away from your desk" in awe of God and what He does through us, His redeemed, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Acts of the Holy Spirit in Acts
1:2 Jesus gave commands through the Holy Spirit
1:5 People are baptized in the Holy Spirit
1:8 The Holy Spirit comes upon people, giving them power, to be
witnesses for Jesus Christ across the globe
1:16 The Holy Spirit gave prophetic scriptures through King David
that are fulfilled.
2:4 The Holy Spirit filled the apostles, the Holy Spirit gave them
utterances
2:17-18 From the prophet Joel, God pours out the Holy Spirit on
all flesh in the last days causing folks to prophesy, see visions, and
dream dreams.
2:33 Jesus received the Holy Spirit and now pours the Holy Spirit
out on the people (the onlookers are now witnesses)
2:38 The Holy Spirit is the promised gift to all who repent and get
baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ the Messiah
4:8 The Holy Spirit fills Peter prior to Peter preaching.
4:25 King David spoke by the Holy Spirit
4:31 After prayer and a house quake, the believers in Jerusalem
were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word
of God with boldness.
5:3 Ananias and Sapphira tried to lie to the Holy Spirit Who is God
5:4, by testing Him 5:9 (dumb idea, it cost them their lives)
5:32 The Holy Spirit is given to those who obey God. (this is
connected to repenting and forgiveness in :31)
6:3 Being full of the Holy Spirit is a qualification to become a
deacon.
6:5 Stephen is described as a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit,
this is when the first 7 deacons are chosen.
6:10 None of the Jewish leaders could stand against the wisdom
and Spirit with which Stephen was speaking.
7:51 At Stephen’s stoning, he calls the Jewish leaders stiff necked
and accuses them of resisting the Holy Spirit, indicating that the
Holy Spirit wanted to commune with them yet they were unwilling
to come to Christ.
7:55 Stephen full of the Holy Spirit saw Christ standing in heaven
at the right hand of God.
8:15-18 At Samaria during Phillip the evangelist’s outreach, Peter
and John came and prayed for the believers there to receive the
Holy Spirit through the laying on of their hands.
8:19 Simon the magician wanted to buy the ability to give the Holy
Spirit to others through the laying on of his hands, it didn’t happen.
The Spirit is not for sale, He is the gift of God in Christ Jesus, just
like salvation!
8:29 The Spirit spoke to Phillip telling him to go over and join the
Ethiopian Eunuch’s chariot, resulting in the salvation of this man.
8:39 The Spirit of the Lord carried Phillip away…
9:17 At Saul’s conversion, the Damascan disciple Ananias lays his
hands on Saul to regain his sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
9:31 The Holy Spirit is spoken of as supplying comfort in
conjunction with the fear of the Lord.
10:19 The Spirit tells Peter that 3 men (Cornelius’ men) are
looking for him.
10:38 God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power at His
baptism
10:44 The Holy Spirit falls on (poured out on :45) all that heard the
word of God through Peter at the Gentile Cornelius’ house.
10:47 Peter calls for their baptism because they had received the
Holy Spirit. Indicating they were born again and received the Holy
Spirit prior to baptism.
11:12 The Spirit told Peter to go with Cornelius’ men.
11:15 Peter testifies to the Jerusalem believers about what
happened at Cornelius’ place saying “The Holy Spirit fell on them
(Gentiles) just as on us at the beginning” a second Pentecost.
11:24 Barnabas at Antioch is described as a good man, full of the
Holy Spirit and faith, and a great many people were added to the
Lord there.
11:28 a prophet from Jerusalem came to Antioch and foretold by
the Spirit about the great famine that was to come.
13:2-4 During worship, fasting, and prayer, speaking to the leaders
in the church at Antioch, the Holy Spirit commissions and sends
both Saul and Barnabas, setting them apart for a particular work.
13:9-11 Paul filled with the Holy Spirit speaking to Elymas (the
governor of Cyprus’ magician) causing mist and darkness to fall on
him, consequently he gropes about for a time.
13:52 in Pisidian Antioch, after Paul preaches to the Jews, he turns
to the Gentiles and they accept the Gospel, being filled with joy
and the Holy Spirit.
15:8 Peter at the Jerusalem council, speaking about the Gentiles
saying, “God who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving
them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us…” *please note that this
is connected to their hearts having been cleansed by faith!
15:28 Both the Holy Spirit and the Apostles came to the
concluding requirements of the Jerusalem council.
16:6-7 The Holy Spirit forbids Paul, Silas, and Timothy from
speaking a word in Asia, and did not allow them to enter Bithynia.
17:16 Paul was provoked by his spirit in Athens at the sight of all
the idolatry.
19:2-6 Paul speaking to unsaved believers questions them on their
reception of the Holy Spirit, they were ignorant of Him. So Paul
instructed them and baptized them in the name of the Lord Jesus.
He laid his hands on them and they were filled with the Holy Spirit
and began speaking in tongues and prophesying.
19:21 In the Spirit Paul resolved (worked out with the Holy Spirit)
his traveling plans that included returning to Jerusalem and then
going to Rome!
20:22-23 The Holy Spirit constrained Paul to travel to Jerusalem
while at the same time testified to Him that imprisonment and
affliction awaited him wherever he went.
20:28 Paul to the Ephesian Elders at Miletus. “Pay careful
attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit
has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which He
obtained with His own blood.” * Please note the trinity at work in
the appointing of elders and ownership of the church!
21:4 Through some believers the Spirit told Paul not to go to
Jerusalem
21:11 Agabus comes to Paul, taking his belt and binding his own
hands and feet with it says, “Thus says the Holy Spirit…”
23:8 The Sadducees say there is no…Spirit.
28:25 Paul under house arrest in Rome speaking to Jews there after
they rejected the Gospel says, “The Holy Spirit was right in saying

to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet…” Isaiah 6:9-10
